Billing and Shipping Inputs

You can pass billing and shipping address information that your end user or customer provided for the transaction. The minFraud services accept inputs for:

Billing Address

You can pass the billing address provided by your end user or customer to the minFraud service. The billing address is one of the recommended high value inputs to pass to the minFraud service when it is available.

The minFraud service can accept inputs for the customer’s personal name and company name, street address, city, region, postal code, country, and phone number. The more information you pass to the minFraud services, the more accurate our risk scoring will be. However, the most important billing address inputs are the city, country, postal code, and phone number. These inputs will provide the most significant enhancement to risk scoring.

Shipping Address

You can pass the shipping address provided by your end user or customer to the minFraud service. You should only pass these inputs if your end user or customer provides a shipping address as part of your transaction.

The minFraud service can accept inputs for the customer’s personal name and company name, street address, city, region, postal code, country, and phone number. The more information you pass to the minFraud services, the more accurate our risk scoring will be. However, the most important shipping address inputs are the street address, city, country, and postal code. These three inputs will provide the most significant enhancement to risk scoring.
