MaxMind accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and PayPal through our online checkout. Receipts for online payments will be available to you in the account portal after processing. For offline purchases by invoice, we accept ACH, wire transfers, and checks drawn on US funds payable to MaxMind, Inc. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org for more details on making a payment via invoice.

Location-Specific Taxes and Policies
For clients based in the United States, MaxMind collects sales tax from purchases made in the following states:
- New Jersey
- New York
- South Carolina
- South Dakota
- Washington D.C.
- West Virginia
For customers outside of the United States, we collect tax in the following countries:
- Member countries of the European Union
- South Africa
- United Arab Emirates
We no longer collect VAT in Russia due to Letter No. СД-4-3/3807@ dated March 30, 2022 issued by the Russian Federal Tax Service.
If your company’s billing location is in any of these states and you are exempt from being charged sales tax for the purchase of MaxMind’s products, please send your state’s respective completed exemption certificate to email@example.com. If you have any questions regarding your tax exemption status or have any questions regarding collecting sales tax, reach out as well.
If we need to begin collecting sales tax in new regions, we will notify the billing emails on your account.
Location-Specific Transaction Limits
Our policies and payment processor limit transaction amounts for cards issued from certain countries. The following is the list of countries and their respective limits. In some cases, the limit is tied to the currency of the country of origin, and in other cases the limit is tied to US dollars.
