Can I use minFraud to score a transaction where the IP address is not available or not relevant?

Effective October 12, 2020 the IP address will not be a required input in minFraud Score, Insights, and Factors requests, and we will be able to score transactions where the IP address is not available or not relevant (e.g. an order placed over the phone).

Please note that while we are able to score transactions without an IP address, scoring will be more accurate for transactions with a valid IP address. In general, the more relevant information about a transaction you can provide, the more accurate our scoring will be.

In requests where an IP address is not provided, outputs related to IP address such as the IP risk score and IP geolocation outputs will not be returned.
